Anne Funk Anne Funk Anne Funk is a trained horse-assisted coach and expert in lifestyle medicine, helping individuals achieve their communication and lifestyle goals. Born in 1980 in Saarland, she studied political science at the University of Trier, the Institut d’études politiques in Bordeaux, and the École nationale d’administration in Strasbourg. Anne began her career at the Saarbrücker Zeitung, winning the Young Talent Award of the German-French Journalists’ Prize in 2007. She later served as a personal advisor and spokesperson at the Saarland Ministry of Europe and headed the department for German-French relations and European policy. In 2016, Anne was appointed head of the Saarland Office in Paris. From 2018 to 2019, she was the government spokesperson for the Saarland State Chancellery. She also worked for the European Commission in DG COMM and was part of the election campaign team of EPP lead candidate Ursula von der Leyen in 2024.
