Professor Dr. Vildan Mevsim, MD, PhD, distinguishes herself as an esteemed Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. Her academic credentials include a medical degree and a Doctorate in Public Health, obtained from Aegean University in 1998. Her academic ascent continued with her appointment as an Associate Professor in Family Medicine/General Practice in 2009. Dr. Mevsim's career is characterized by her significant involvement in a plethora of both national and international scholarly projects, serving in capacities as both project manager and principal researcher. Her doctoral thesis delved into the intricacies of tobacco addiction, and she has since spearheaded and continues to lead numerous initiatives focusing on lifestyle modifications.
